Welcome to Alfaro Tree Sales, Inc.

Alfaro Tree Sales, Inc. carries a  large inventory of the Southern Live Oak (Quercus virginiana) and Texas Mountain Laurel (Sophora secundiflora) in the Southern Region of Texas, which has been our focus from the beginning.  Alfaro Tree Sales, Inc. also has a large inventory of specimen Mexican Evergreen White Oak (Quercus polymorpha, also called Monterey Oak which is the fastest growing evergreen oak experiencing new popularity in the South and Southwest.   We also have at least eight other different species of oak (Quercus) in stock.  With the genuine dedication of all our employees, it is not hard to see why Alfaro Tree Sales, Inc. has been so successful.
 
Our inventory includes a large collection of specimen Texas native trees, South Texas native understory plants, and traditional Southern landscape plants, such as a 28’ caliper Southern magnolia and such Southwestern favorites as mesquite (Prosopis grandulosa), Texas mountain laurel (Sopho secundiflora), agaves (Agaves Americana), Spanish dagger (Yucca treculeana), prickly pear (Opuntia spp.), specimen senisa (Leucophyllum frutescens) specimen yucca (Yucca rostrata, Yucca recurvifolia, & Yucca thompsoniana) and octillo (Fouquieria splendens).  More Southern and coastal plants have also been added, with the large selection of sago palm (Cycas revolute), windmill palm (Trachycarpus fortunei), Mediterranean fan palm (Chamaerops humilis) and Texas sable plam (Sabal texanamexicana). Our big favorite with landscape architects and landscape contractors, the cedar elm (Ulmus crassifolia) is probably the third most popular tree that we sell.
